THE MARINA

The marina has slips for boats up to 48 ft. in length.  Every slip has electricity, water, and wi-fi.

The marina is open during the summer season, from May 1 to October 31. In addition, some members use the marina for winter storage.

The marina is fully member-run, so we try hard to make this a place where everyone can enjoy themselves.  Contact the Harbormaster for more information or to request a slip.

2025 Slip Rental Rates (May 1 TO October 31)

Boats can be up to 20% longer than the slip length.

  • An IYC membership is required to rent a slip.
  • Please complete the Slip Rental Agreement.
  • All boat owners must provide current proof of insurance, such as a certificate of insurance, showing at least $300,000 in liability coverage for their boat.
  • New slip renters will be charged a one-time initiation fee equal to the summer slip rental fee (plus tax), payable over three years.

If no slip of the requested size is available, a boat may be temporarily assigned a larger slip.

New IYC Marina Members

Are you interested in joining the club and securing a slip or mooring, or a current member wanting to rent a slip or mooring?  If so, you should join the waiting list for a slip (see below) as soon as possible.  The marina is often full, but a few slips open up every year and there are usually open slips on the north docks.

In addition to the slip fees, new members of the marina pay a one-time initiation fee that is used to fund critical maintenance and upgrades.  This fee is equal to the summer slip rental fee (plus tax), payable over three years.

Current Marina Members

We will contact you in November or December so that you can renew your slip rental for the next season. If can renew at the previous year's rate if you pay before the end of December. To reserve your slip, you need to pay your invoice before the end of January.  Otherwise the slip will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.

Rules for Using the Harbors and Docks

For the safety and convenience of all (and the financial well-being of the club), everybody should read and observe the Rules for Using the Harbors and Docks.
