Visiting BoatsVisitors from Other ClubsThe Ithaca Yacht Club welcomes boats belonging to members of other boating and yacht clubs, when they visit from outside the Ithaca area, whether or not the clubs have reciprocal agreements. In addition to using the transit slips, the crew of visiting boats may use the locker rooms, restaurant, and bar. Our liquor license requires non-members to sign in before using the bar. |
Slips for short term stays are provided on the outside Eastern most finger of the North Docks and in front of the Marina Pavilion in the South Harbor for visitors who are members of other boating and yacht clubs, and visiting boats for regattas.
The rest of the North Docks are rented to members, so please don’t park in one of those slips.
Please send email to the Harbormaster for a slip assignment and let us know you are coming to visit.
For visiting boats the first two nights are free, and subsequent nights, up to a total of five per season, are charged at $2/ft.
Because the docks are exposed to strong winds from the north, be careful when leaving boats unattended overnight.
Club members may use these slips as often as they like during daytime hours.
Rules for Using the Harbors and DocksFor the safety and convenience of all (and the financial well-being of the club), everybody should read and observe the Rules for Using the Harbors and Docks. |
