About the Gala
The Commodore Gala is a special evening when we come together to recognize and thank our Past and Present Commodores for the countless hours they have volunteered to make the Ithaca Yacht Club the special community it is today.
It is also simply a great night at the club—a chance to gather with longtime friends, reconnect with members you may have met this season, and welcome those who are new to IYC. Enjoy dinner, conversation, dancing, and live music from The Dean Family Band, featuring a mix of fun, harmony-filled covers and originals.
Whether you're coming to celebrate a Commodore, reconnect with friends, or simply enjoy a night at the club, we hope you'll join us!
Evening Schedule
- 5:00 PM – Cocktail Reception
- 5:30 PM – Commodore Photo on the Point
- 6:00 PM – Flag Lowering
- 6:15 PM – Dinner
- 7:00–9:00 PM – Photo Booth
- 7:30 PM – Announcements
- 8:00 PM – Dessert
- After dinner – Dancing with The Dean Family Band
Attire: Business Casual (or as dressy as you'd like!)
Reservations are required. We encourage you to reserve your spot early and join us for an evening celebrating our club, our Commodores, and the friendships that make IYC such a special place.
