The Cayuga Lake Cruising Fleet (CLCF) kicks off its Virutal Race series today. In these races, boats sail to a virtual point (a GPS coordinate based on their boat rating). This means that if everyone sails equally well, they will all finish at the same time, in front of the point. This can make for some fun and interesting finishes.
