Dear Members,
Let’s send summer off in style!
Labor Day at IYC is a day filled with tradition, friends, good food, music, and one last celebration of summer on the lake. Come spend the afternoon with us!
Labor Day Boat Parade | 2 PM
One of our favorite IYC traditions! All members' boats—from kayaks on up—are welcome to participate.
Boats will line up south of The Point at 2:00 PM, flags flying, and then motor or sail past the Commodores on The Point. Each boat will be greeted with a salute from the Club's brass cannon!
Not boating? Come out to The Point and watch the parade! It’s a great way to be part of the tradition from shore.
BBQ Buffet - 3 - 8 PM
Enjoy a classic Labor Day BBQ with friends and family.
DJ & Music | 3–5 PM
Stick around after the parade for music, drinks, and a little dancing—or just relax and enjoy the afternoon.
Lawn Games
Challenge your friends to a game or two and enjoy some friendly competition on the lawn.
One Last Swim - Water Front Open noon - 7 PM
And, of course, take advantage of the waterfront for one last swim of summer.
Bring the family, invite a friend, and come spend Labor Day at the Club. Whether you arrive by boat, gather on The Point for the parade, come for the BBQ, or stay for the music and games, there will be plenty of reasons to be at IYC.
Let’s make our last big summer gathering a good one!
See you at the Club!
